Our Mission

The mission of the Aspen Fringe Festival is to cultivate and present groundbreaking artistic works that challenge, inspire, and engage our community.  We also believe the Theatre to be a device for empathy, it's job, to create better people and heal social and cultural divides, inspiring us to make a positive contribution to our communities.  To that end we provide a platform for exceptional artists to develop exciting new works that expand the limits of their creativity and offer audiences the opportunity to experience performances that are fresh, daring, and thought-provoking. By fostering a spirit of experimentation and inclusivity, AFF aims to enrich the cultural landscape of Aspen and beyond, making the arts accessible to all and nurturing the next generation of creative talent. We seek to present exceptional arts and artists and provide
opportunities for local performers, students, artists, and audiences to enrich their lives through
participation. We offer our  artists-in-residence the opportunity to test new works in a creative safe haven, providing  a catalyst for future success. Our mission is to celebrate the power of art to transform, connect, and elevate the human experience.
